The appellant, Amaechi Igwe, was tried for possession of heroin with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia. He waived his right to a trial by jury and was tried and convicted by a circuit judge. He appeals and argues only that the evidence was insufficient to show he possessed the heroin with the intent to deliver it. The State contends we should not consider the issue because Mr. Igwe’s counsel failed to renew his motion for a directed verdict at the close of the evidence.
