MEMORANDUM OPINION
FARNAN, District Judge.
I.INTRODUCTION
Plaintiff W.L. Gore & Associates, Inc. (“Gore”) commenced this trademark infringement action against Defendants Johnson & Johnson and Johnson & Johnson Consumer Products, Inc. (“J & J”) on October 7, 1994. Gore claims that J & J infringed Gore’s dental floss trademark registration “Glide” by use of a similar trademark for its dental floss “Easy Slide.” Gore seeks to enjoin J & J from using its trademark “Easy Slide,” arguing that the mark is confusingly similar to Gore’s “Glide” trademark.
