I. INTRODUCTION

This negligence action comes before the court on the parties’ motions for summary judgment. Plaintiff Kathleen Robertson brings suit against defendant American Airlines (“AA”) for compensatory and punitive damages resulting from thermal-burn injuries she allegedly sustained during an AA flight.
