Plaintiffs commenced these proceedings in state court as a potential class action on behalf of millions of children in the United States who allegedly have been or will be injured from exposure to mercury contained in “Thimerosal,” a preservative found in various childhood vaccines. In their First Amended Complaint filed on July 31, 2001, Plaintiffs allege state law claims for negligence, common law fraud, strict products liability, and unjust enrichment.
