The plaintiff, OMV Associates, L.P. (OMV), brought this action in Superior Court to recover unpaid rent on two commercial leases. OMV appeals from judgment notwithstanding the verdict entered in favor of the defendant, Mirror Image Internet, Inc. (Mirror Image), the corporate parent of the defendant lessee, Clearway Acquisition, Inc. (Clearway). The primary issue on appeal is whether there was sufficient evidence to hold Mirror Image liable, on a theory of corporate disregard, for amounts owed on the leases executed by Clearway.
