This is a bill for injunction filed on May 13, 1929, by John C. Wendt and Josephine Wendt, appellants, in the city court of the City of Elgin in Kane county, against the City of Elgin, J. 0. Myers, city collector of the City of Elgin, and E. M. Scheflow, appellees. The bill alleges that John C. Wendt and Josephine Wendt, the appellants, are the owners of two certain lots in the City of Elgin, Kane county, Illinois, and that on September 7, 1928, the City of Elgin filed a petition in the city court of said City of Elgin to levy a…
