Louis Allen McCracken was convicted in the Criminal Court of Sullivan County of assault with intent to commit murder in the first degree on three presentments and kidnapping, T.C.A. 39-2601, on five presentments. The eight cases are related and were tried together. His imprisonment was fixed at three to 18 years on each of the assault convictions and two to eight years on each of the five kidnapping convictions.
