This case involves a declaratory judgment action in which appellant, Atlantic Mutual Insurance Company (insurer), sought a determination (1) whether exclusions in a comprehensive general liability (CGL) insurance policy issued to respondent, Judd Company (insured), operate to exclude coverage for certain claims made against insured by a third party, and (2) whether the exclusions also operate to relieve insurer of its obligation under the policy to defend insured against the claims.
