OPINION

BISSETT, Justice.

This is a venue case. Leroy Ransom filed suit in the District Court of Matagor-da County, Texas, against A. Nelson Mc-Carter and W. B. McCarter, Jr., for damages, actual and exemplary, for an alleged breach of an implied covenant contained in an oil, gas and mineral lease. The defendants, residents of Harris County, Texas, filed a plea of privilege to be sued in the county of their residence.
