On February 1, 1995, defendant, Michael Ward, pleaded guilty in the district court of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor, second offense (OUIL 2d), MCL 257.625(7)(b); MSA 9.2325(7)(b), and of operating a motor vehicle while his driver’s license was suspended or revoked, MCL 257.904(l)(a); MSA 9.2604(l)(a). The district court sentenced defendant to two years’ probation, with six months in jail.
