On March 23, 2000, a jury sitting before the Honorable John S. Kennedy of the Court of Common Pleas of York County convicted appellant of kidnapping, 1 conspiracy to commit murder 2 and murder in the first degree 3 in connection .with the shooting death of Arthur Irick.
