delivered the opinion of the court:

The plaintiff, Linda Taber 1 , appeals from a judgment entered on a jury verdict in favor of the defendant, Forrest H. Riordan III, M.D., in a medical malpractice suit. The defendant cross-appeals, claiming that plaintiff’s claim was barred by the statute of limitations.

Linda Taber was bom with congenitally dislocated hips. When she was 10 years of age both of her hips were operated upon at the Shriners’ Crippled Childrens Hospital, where the shelves of the hips were built up with bone from other parts of her body. She was an…
