In October 2015 Relator Christopher Culp was convicted in the Circuit Court of Lafayette County of one count of felony stealing, and was sentenced to a term of seven years' imprisonment. The circuit court suspended the imposition of Culp's sentence and placed him on five years' probation. The Board of Probation and Parole filed probation violation reports against Culp in March and April 2017. Because the circuit court did not hold a hearing or otherwise address the alleged probation violations, Culp filed a motion to be discharged from probation in September 2018. In his motion, Culp…
