Once more we embark on a voyage through the familiar marshland area of the law set aside for classifying the oil and gas exploration services contract as wet or dry. In this case, as is commonplace in the oil and gas industry, the contract between the oil company and the servicer/contractor consists of two parts, a broadform blanket agreement followed by a later specific work order covering the specific work to be done, wireline services on a movable jackup drilling rig.
