This matter is before the Court on Respondent Jeffrey N. Schwartz’ Petition for Voluntary Discipline filed pursuant to the provisions of State Bar Rule 4-227 (b) (2) prior to the State Bar’s filing of a Formal Complaint. In his petition, Schwartz seeks the imposition of an 18-month suspension retroactive to May 9, 2003 for his admitted violations of Rule 8.4 (a) (4) of the Georgia Rules of Professional Conduct, see Bar Rule 4-102 (d). Although a violation of Rule 8.4 (a) (4) is punishable by disbarment, the State Bar recommended the acceptance of Schwartz’ voluntary petition and this Court…
