This appeal involves the timeliness of an action brought by the Secretary of Labor (Secretary) against the American Postal Workers Union, AFL-CIO, Chicago Local (the Union) under Title IV of the Labor Management Reporting and Disclosure Act of 1959 (LMRDA), 29 U.S.C. § 401 et seq. The district court granted summary judgment for the Union, finding that the Secretary’s action was barred by. the sixty-day statute of limitations in 29 U.S.C. § 482(b).
