SMITH, District Judge.

The petition of Charles Elson for naturalization is denied upon the sole ground that it has not been made to appear to the satisfaction of the court, as required by paragraph 4 of section 4 of the Naturalization Act (Comp. St. § 4352), that during the five years immediately preceding the date of his application “he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same.” The testimony shows that petitioner is now, and was at the time of filing his…
