Gkeene, J. :
The plaintiffs commenced an'action against defendants before a justice of the peace of Jefferson county and caused a summons to issue to Shawnee county, which was served at their residences in Shawnee county. No other summons was served on them. On the day set for trial they appeared with their attorneys and moved the court to quash the service and dismiss the action for want of jurisdiction.
