National Western Life Insurance Co. (National Western) appeals from a final order entered in the District Court 1 for the District of Minnesota granting summary judgment in favor of the Resolution Trust Corp. (RTC), as the receiver of Midwest Savings Association (MSA), and awarding RTC damages in the amount of $9,824,127.56, plus interest. Midwest Savings Ass’n v.
