The Chancellor.
The facts in this case are few and simple.
Rachel Hunt, the wife of Andrew Hunt, was seised in fee of certain houses and lots of land in the city of New-York.She inherited this real estate from her father, who had acquired it by purchase. She died without issue, on the 29th. of September, 1805, and the plaintiffs in this suit are her heirs at law, being the children of her father’s brother, who was her next immediate heir, and who died subsequently to-her.
