Presently before this Court are the preliminary objections of the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections (DOC) and the Pennsylvania Board of Parole and Probation (PBPP) (collectively, respondents) to the pro se petition for review in the nature of mandamus 2 (petition) filed by Robert C. Comrie (Comrie). In his petition, Comrie seeks immediate release from incarceration alleging that his re-incarceration two years after completion of his state sentence is illegal.
