The problem posed in this proceeding is whether the premises occupied by the tenant are housing accommodations subject to control pursuant to the State Residential Rent Law (L. 1946, ch. 274, as amd. by L. 1950, ch. 250).
The named tenant was the owner of the building of which the apartment in question is a part, from 1943 to November 16,1950. On that date, the tenant George Knowles conveyed his title by deed to New York City Housing Authority, the petitioner herein.
