This interpleader proceeding arose out of the sale of a drugstore with its stock and equipment by Richard T. Nell to Galen B. Reed and Jane L. Reed by agreement dated August 5, 1949. The agreed sale price was $18,940 and the agreement provided that $5,000 of the purchase price would be held by John McCrea, Esq., and placed on deposit in the Peoples National Bank of Shippensburg in escrow for a period of 90 days, the escrow agreement to stipulate that in the event no claims or demands were made upon the purchasers within 90 days from the date of the agreement…
