This case is before the court on the petition of Bickerstaff Clay Products Company, Inc. (“Bickerstaff” or “the Company”) for review of an order by the National Labor Relations Board (“NLRB” or “the Board”) on September 30, 1987, and the Board’s cross-application for enforcement. The Board found that Bickerstaff violated Sections 8(a)(1) and (5) of the National Labor Relations Act (“NLRA” or “the Act”), 29 U.S.C. Sec. 158(a)(1) and (5), by withdrawing recognition of Laborers’ Local Union No. 246 (“the Union”) as the representative of the Company’s employees, by…
