George Fred Rush filed in the superior court of Cook county a complaint against the owners of two tracts of land over which there was a private alley in which he claimed an easement. An answer and a cross-bill were filed by certain of the defendants. John J. Gill, a defendant, filed no answer and was defaulted. Upon a hearing the cross-bill was dismissed, and. the complaint was dismissed as to the defendant Thomas A. Collins.
