This was an action on an account for attorneys’ services and expenses. Plaintiff showed a bill of itemized debits totaling $4,946.18 and itemized credits aggregating $1,954.76, and judgment was awarded him for the balance due, $2,991.42, with interest thereon from the date when the action was begun.

Defendant appeals, assigning two errors, the first of which relates to the admission of testimony by plaintiff that he had given defendant credit for a somewhat larger amount than he was actually entitled to, because plaintiff wanted to keep the…
