—In an action to recover damages, inter alia, for libel and violations of Judiciary Law § 487, the plaintiffs appeal, as limited by their brief, from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Suffolk County (Floyd, J.), dated May 31, 1994, as dismissed the first through eighth causes of action of their complaint and the defendants cross-appeal from so much of the same order as denied their motion for the imposition of sanctions against the plaintiffs and their counsel.
*482Ordered that the order is affirmed insofar as appealed and cross-appealed from, with costs to the respondents-appellants.
