By this action plaintiff sought to secure a judgment against the defendant, the city of Montesaho, upon certain warrants drawn upon the electric light fund which it was alleged had been created by the city, and to compel by mandamus the levy of a tax for the payment of such judgment. The court granted a writ of mandamus, requiring the city to take up the warrants and issue in place thereof warrants upon the general fund of the city, but refused to require the levy of a tax for the payment of such warrants.
