This is an action of tort brought under R. L. c. 171, § 2, as amended by St. 1907, c. 375, to recover damages for the death of Calvin Fletcher Prince, the plaintiff’s intestate, who lost his life by a shock of electricity from contact with one of the defendant’s wires, which carried at the time nearly twenty-three hundred volts.
