Julia A. Ross, as administratrix of her son, George Ross, brought this action to recover damages from .the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railway Company for wrongfully and negligently causing the death of her inr testate. In the trial court the plaintiff recovered a judgment for $7500, which has been affirmed by the Appellate Court for the Second District. The defendant has prosecuted a further appeal to this court.
