This action is before this Court upon an appeal from the final order of the Circuit Court of Summers County, West Virginia, entered on March 28, 1997. The appellants, Richard E. Short and Cathy L. Short, are the parents of Christopher Edward Short, an infant. The appellee, Appalachian OH-9, Inc., is a West Virginia corporation providing emergency medical services in the Summers County area.
