CHRISTIANSEN, Judge:

{1 The Salt Lake Tribune appeals from the district court's denial of its motion seeking to intervene and to challenge the classification of court records as private in a closed defamation case. We vacate the district court's order denying the motion to intervene and remand the matter to the district court for further proceedings consistent with this opinion.
