Suburban Transportation System v. Furse
Washington Supreme Court
1Opinion of the CourtSteinert, J.
This is an appeal from a judgment of the superior court affirming, with a slight modification, an order wherein the state department of public service adjudicated conflicting applications for certificates of convenience and necessity filed by two passenger transportation companies, each seeking to extend its suburban bus service into territory claimed by the other. For convenience, we shall refer to the Suburban Transportation System simply as “the appellant,” to the respondent Roy S. Furse by his own name, and to the respondent department of public service as “the department.”
