The respondent, Loueza Gibson, and the appellant, 33. O. Gibson, were lawfully married in the year 1886 and they have one child, the fruit of said marriage, Bessie O. Gibson, now eleven years of age. On the 16th day of March, 1891, the respondent began an action in the superior court of Garfield county against the appellant for divorce, and the care, custody and control of their child, Bessie O.
