ORDER

STEVENS, District Judge.

Plaintiffs filed this lawsuit, pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983, alleging that the School District of Kansas City, Missouri (School District) 1 violated their constitutional rights by failing to monitor adequately, supervise adequately, and terminate Kathleen Warren, 2 a teacher who administered corporal punishment to plaintiffs. The case is currently before the court on defendant’s motion to dismiss the case for failure to state a claim pursuant to Fed.R.Civ. P. 12(b)(6) or, in the alternative, for summary judgment.
