Art Metal is the government’s largest supplier of metal office furniture. It com petes for government contracts by submitting bids as solicited by GSA under advertised competitive procurements which are awarded to the lowest priced responsible bidder. During the past few months, in the ordinary course of the government’s procurement process, bids for a variety of metal furniture items have been solicited from Art Metal and others.
