CORNELIUS, Justice.
This is an appeal from a judgment striking appellant’s plea of intervention in litigation involving a trust for the benefit of the Saint Matthews Cathedral, an unincorporated voluntary religious association constituting a parish in the Diocese of Dallas of the Episcopal Church.
The financial history of the parish is of importance to the present action and will be summarized. From 1943 to 1963 certain funds and properties were given in trust to a “Cathedral Fund” for the benefit of the parish. The governing body of the church, the Vestry, is required by Canon Law to take…
