—In an action for a divorce and ancillary relief, the defendant wife (1) appeals from so much of a judgment of the Supreme Court, Westchester County (Cowhey, *412J.), dated May 8, 1997, as equitably distributed the marital assets, and (2) purportedly appeals from so much of the same judgment as failed to award her maintenance.

Ordered that the purported appeal is dismissed; and it is further,

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed insofar as appealed from; and it is further,

Ordered that the respondent is awarded one bill of costs.
