OPINION

DAVIS, Chief Justice.

Randy White attempts to appeal from the court’s order awarding portions of a 1990 Chevrolet pickup truck to the State. Tex. Code Cmm. PROC. Ann. art. 47.01a (Vernon Supp.1996). Because White failed to comply with the clear statutory provisions regarding appeal of such an order, we lack jurisdiction and must dismiss this cause. Id. art. 47.12(c).
