Defendants appeal from a judgment pursuant to a jury verdict in favor of plaintiff in the amount of $129,000.07 and from an order which denied their motion to •set aside the verdict and dismiss the complaint.
Plaintiff was injured while employed by Merritt, Chapman and Scott (Merritt), general contractor of the Lewiston power plant. The defendants are the New York State Power Authority (Authority), the owner of the project, and Uhl, Hall and *145Rich who, pursuant to the contract, had the responsibility for the design and supervision of the project.
