CAHN, District Judge.

I. PRELIMINARY STATEMENT

This is an action for injunctive relief brought pursuant to the Federal Arbitra tion Act (“Arbitration Act”), 9 U.S.C. § 1, et seq. 1 The plaintiff, Stephany Roodveldt (“Roodveldt”), is a former employee of defendant Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith, Inc. (“Merrill Lynch”).
