In November, 1933, in the Corporation Court of the city *1104of Norfolk, J. D. Wood and L. F. Hendricks were indicted for the murder of Ulysses G. McHough. These men elected to be tried separately and Hendricks was first tried. He was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter and his punishment was fixed at six months confinement in jail.
