Plaintiff S.S., a minor (date of birth — July 29,1978), alleges that on numerous occasions she was physically and sexually abused by a male student (G.P. Jr.) while attending DePaul Institute, a private school for hearing-impaired and deaf children. Defendants include DePaul Institute, Sister M. Philomena Mannion, who served as the principal/director of DePaul Institute during the relevant times, and Sisters of Charity, the religious order of Sister M. Philomena Mannion.
