Appeal from an order of the Family Court of Delaware County (Estes, J.), entered September 5, 2001, which dismissed petitioner’s application, in a proceeding pursuant to Family Ct Act article 6, for visitation with the parties’ children.
Petitioner and respondent are the biological parents of two children, born in 1993 and 1994. In 1999, petitioner was convicted of criminal possession of a weapon in the first degree and sentenced to a determinate term of 25 years in prison.
