Before the Court is Defendant’s Motion to Dismiss Plaintiffs Complaint for civil damages on grounds of the unconstitutionality of the Civil Rights provisions of the Violence Against Women Act of 1994, 42 U.S.C. § 13981 (Docket No. 58); and the United States’ Motion to Intervene, pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2403(a), in order to defend the constitutionality of said provisions.
