As in the companion ease filed today, Maricopa Audubon Society v. United States Forest Service, 108 F.3d 1082 (9th Cir. 1997) the Maricopa Audubon Society and one of its members, Dr. Robin Silver (collectively referred to as “Audubon”), appeal the partial denial of a request for information from the United States Forest Service pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. § 552.
