¶ 1. Defendant Christopher Williams appeals his conviction of two counts of first-degree murder, one count of attempted first-degree murder, and one count of attempted second-degree murder arising out of a series of shootings at two residences and an elementary school in Essex, Vermont. Defendant was subsequently sentenced to three terms of life without parole and one term of twenty to twenty-five years of imprisonment.
