¶ 1 In this case involving the interpretation of statutes prohibiting the theft of access devices, the State appeals the dismissal of its case against Angel Rose Marie Nelson. After Nelson stole gift cards from her employer, the State charged her with second degree theft of an access device and second degree possession of a stolen access device. The superior court granted Nelson’s State v.
