PRICE, Chief Justice.

This is an appeal from a judgment of the District Court of Midland County. H. H. Hamlin as plaintiff, and as next friend for his minor children Susan and Tony, sued the City of Midland as defendant, seeking damage for the alleged negligent destruction of certain personal property. Trial was before the court with a jury, submission upon special issues, judgment entered on the findings of the jury against defendant City of Midland in favor of plaintiff H. H.
