Appeal from an order and judgment of the Supreme Court (Kramer, J.), *994entered July 7, 1999 in Schenectady County, which, inter alia, granted defendants’ cross motion for summary judgment dismissing the complaint.

As the result of a search warrant issued on the basis of information provided by a confidential informant, plaintiffs residence was searched by police officers employed by defendant City of Schenectady on September 23, 1987 and a quantity of cocaine was recovered.
